The role of athletics as small colleges and universities is important on many levels. How athletics departments engage their presidents, and the relationship presidents have with their athletics programs are critical to leveraging this powerful campus asset.

Michelle previously held administrative positions at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Mississippi State University, Wood College and Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. Her 19 years of experience in higher education includes both administrative and faculty leadership positions.
Dave Wolk, former President
Castleton University
Dave Wolk served as President of Castleton University from 2001-2017. As the longest-serving President in Castleton’s history he has overseen an increased involvement by the University in the local community and an expanded commitment to civic engagement and service learning.
