In this episode, Rob Larson talks about his role as Faculty Athletics Representative, athletics as a marketing and enrollment tool and also offers some great advice for athletics directors about how to effectively work with FARs.
Rob Larson is the Vice President for Communications and Marketing at Luther College and a member of the President’s Leadership Cabinet.
Professor Larson has been a member of the Economics and Business faculty since 2003, focusing on the topics of marketing, investment management, and entrepreneurship. Some of his course topics have included Principles of Marketing, Investment Management, and Australia as Brand (study abroad).
Currently, Professor Larson teaches the Scholars Colloquium course for first-year Regents scholars.
Past research projects have covered topics ranging from Models for Undergraduate Research and Hands-On Marketing Applications in Non-classroom Settings to Use of Electronic Focus Groups as an Assessment Tool in a Principles of Marketing Class.
