Ryan Ivey was the Director of Athletics at Texas A&M- Commerce until early August 2015 when he was named the new AD at Division I Austin Peay University in Tennessee.

In this interview, conducted while Ryan was still at TAMC, he discusses the values of NCAA Division II, some of the challenges of generating revenue and the culture shift he implemented at TAMC that resulted in an increase in athletics expectations, and successes.

Ryan also talks about his transition into his first AD position and offers his thoughts on what makes a good leader today for intercollegiate athletics.
